Our school would like to congratulate those who participated in SWBA's first Lego League competition. Not only was this an exciting experience for our students, but it is the first competing team in Alachua County! Our students are proudly participating in something that is a first for Alachua County students and we hope that it is the beginning of a great tradition.

Dear Parents and Students,
We would like to congratulate our Science Olympiad Team for their great achievement in the Invitational Science Olympiad tournament held in Orlando on January 16th, 2010.
Our team won the 3rd place as a team and received 18 event placements as listed below. Actually, our team had a tie with the second team, but the other team broke the tie by winning one or two more first placements than us. Many thanks to our parent coaches and students because this accomplishment would not be possible without their effort and dedication for the SWBA Science Team and good luck in the upcoming regional competition on February 27th, 2010.
Team Placements:
We are still trying to get situated into a tournament for future references. We were late in signing up for a schedule during the preseason, so we are trying to work that in at some point.
